Tartine Thirsty Thrusday in Central district
Enjoying life is so French! When my dear friend Eli told me that there is a way to promote the French art of living by eating tartines (a fancy French open-faced sandwich topped with ingredients), I could not resist the invitation. This is how I ended up that evening at the “Tartine Thirsty Thursday” organized by Art de Vivre Agency. Located in Central district on Lyndhurst Terrace, Tartine is in the new cosy building called “The Mood”, on the second and third floor. This new French restaurant offers a friendly area where people can comfortably meet. It was a great opportunity to discover and enjoy new flavors that contrast heavily with the actual fast food culture.
This warm event, in partnership with Minuit Rose, was also a friendly and tasty reminder that the summer in Hong Kong is now officially gone until next year. The secret of this rosé wine lies in the “Vendanges Nocturnes” process and this tradition goes way back to the XIIth century at the Château d’Astros. A nice discovery that definitely helped to forget the chilly winter in this concrete city.
Enjoying life without music? Thanks to Fufu we didn’t have to face such an awkward situation. Dedicated to forward-thinking electronic music and promoting the local scene, this creative agency brought the final delight feeding our ears. It was a real pleasure and I’m sure the tasting event proved that Tartine is the new smart after-work location.
